Open since the end of 2016 as a meeting place for those who love reading, a cultural space for people in Timisoara and a local art space, but also for tourists which visit the city, the bookstore hosts for Art Encounters 2017 a couple of book launches.

Michelle Lacombe has developed a uniquely conceptual body-based practice since obtaining her BFA from Concordia University in 2006. Recipient of the 2015 Bourse Plein Sud, her work has been shown in Canada and abroad in the context of performance events, exhibitions, and colloquiums.



Cezar Lăzărescu (born 1969) is a Romanian artist who lives and works in Iasi. He is a conceptual artist and performer and he completed his studies at the University "G. Enescu" in Iasi and since 2001 he is a founding member of the Vector Association.

Zbigniew Libera (b. 1959) is one of the most important Polish artists, considered one of the pillars of the so-called “critical art”. His works—photographs, video films, installations, objects and drawings—piercingly and subversively play with the stereotypes of contemporary culture.

Ana Lupaș (b. 1940), author of drawings, objects, tapestries, environments, happenings, installations, performances. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Cluj, 1962.
