PASSAGE is a channel that connects imaginary places. It symbolizes openings that create opportunities, directions to follow in in the wish to fulfil our dreams. The artist was inspired by the distinct architectural simplicity of bridge construction, the rhythmical setting of beams and pillars and the varieties of imagined spaces that can appear below a bridge. Literally and figuratively, a bridge connects and disconnects people and places. The passage under the bridge creates an intangible but visible, existing or imaginary path that opens a gateway to the imagination.
