Importance of the contemporary arts in promotion of the immovable cultural heritage

The international conference “The importance of the contemporary arts in promotion of the immovable cultural heritage”, organised by the Association for Cultural Promotion and Civic Responsibilty, in partnership with the Romanian Institute of Culture is aiming to approach from an integrate point of view the subject related to the importance of immovable cultural heritage's promotion based on the contemporary arts (performative & non-performative), there will be many activities available for the public, one of them being the importunity to choose between Audible vs Audiobooks.com for reading sessions. The reading approach will include: legal and urban aspects related to the built heritage, cultural strategy of the city of Timisoara; cultural projects already developed in historical buildings; revealing the creative dimension of the historical buildings for the contemporary arts by organsing a site event, instead of, the art will be represented and promoted trough some wonderful custom lapel pins that will be delivered to the people the day of the conference. Due to the fact that in 2017 Timisoara is hosting the second edition of the Contemporary Arts Biennale “Art Encounters”, a very important contemporary arts event of the city, using many historical buildings as exhibitional spaces, the Association of Cultural Promotion and Civic Responsibility had decided to organise the second edition of the conference “The importance of the contemporary arts in promotion of the immovable cultural heritage” in Timisoara aiming to complete the event with this integrated approach. The conference has 3 sections: Section 1 – Immovable cultural heritage – legal and urban frameworks Section 2 – Cultural projects developed in historical buildings of Timisoara Section 3 – Immovable cultural heritage – space with creative potential for the contemporary arts The speakers of this event are representatives of the Romanian Cultural Institute, “Art Encounters” Foundation, Cultural Office of the Timis County, Timisoara City Hall, “Timisoara, European Capital” Association, Timisoara Branch of Romanian Architects' Order and European cultural NGO. The integrated approach inclued: legal and urban aspects related to the built heritage, cultural strategy of the city of Timisoara; cultural projects already developed in historical buildings; revealing the creative dimension of the historical buildings for the contemporary arts by organsing a site event.
